Nondestructive Cracks Detection
Non destructive test (NDT) for the detection of cracks forging defects
and leaks in metallic and non metallic materials.
The method applies by using three sprays.
Containing three different reagents:
- LC spray contains oil and dirt remover.
- LC – 1 spray contains red penetrate.
- LC – 2 sprays contains white developer.
Application instructions:
Clean the inspected surface with LC - spray cleaner.
When dry, use LC – 1 spray (red). After 5 - 20 min remove the excess red penetrate with clean cloth which was sprayed with LC - spray cleaner.
When dry, spray the developer LC – 2 (white) and wait for 5 to 15 minutes for the white surface to dry.
Wait another 10 – 15 min for LC-2 white developer activity.
The appearance of red lines or stains confirms the presence of cracks, leaks or defects.
